My Miami Bachelorette Party

This past March I had my bachelorette party in Miami. Eleven of my best girls flew from all over to celebrate me that weekend and it made me feel so special and SO thankful to have such great friends.

My MOH/best friends since 6th grade, Jenn, was a huge help when planning my bachelorette party. I picked the location, activities and restaurants. I texted my girlfriends to see if and when they were available to make the trip. After deciding on the weekend she did all of the work from there, trying to find a perfect Air Bnb, figuring out payments, booking activities / reservations, and putting and itinerary together for everyone. I am beyond grateful for her help as I was definitely starting to feel overwhelmed with wedding planning as we got closer to wedding day.

I would say we kept my bachelorette party somewhat low-key. I didn't want my friends spending a ridiculous amount of money on me, especially since I was having a destination wedding a month and a half later. All in all it was perfect and I wouldn't have had it any other way. The most special part of it all was just having my best friends all together. I will forever cherish all of the dancing and belly laughs from that weekend.

In this blog post I'm recapping my 3 day extravaganza and at the end I have created a list of places that are perfect for bachelorette parties. Although we didn't make it to all of the places I listed, I wanted to give you some ideas in case you are planning a bachelorette party in Miami!

DAY ONE

The first day we got there we asked our air bnb host if we could check in early. We were able to check in at noon instead of 3 which was super nice because we had time to decorate, grocery shop and then lay out by the pool while we waited for the rest of the girls to arrive. The drinking started early and we didn't start getting ready until late. Our plan was to go to dinner and then go to Story, but we ended up ordering pizza and going straight to the club. I'm not one to really stick to a plan lol. One of my bffs contacted a promoter she met through a friend and he offered us a spot at his table with free drinks all night. Obviously, we couldn't turn that down. It was a fun night, but I have to stress how important it is for you to stay alert. Do not get too drunk and make sure you stay together...even if you're invited to a mansion party. While we were at Story someone cut the chain on one of my girlfriends purse and unfortunately stole her wallet. So please, just be aware!

DAY TWO

We booked a 4 hour yacht charter around Miami and this was hands down the best day of the whole weekend. I'm sure all the girls would agree! I decided on a neon theme and asked everyone to bring a neon bikini to wear on the boat. I felt like it went with the vibe of Miami and they all looked SO good together!! My MOH booked our boat rental through curated.com.

Something to keep in mind: most boats only allow a maximum of 13 guests.

That night we made reservations at Shokudo for dinner. We chose this restaurant out of convenience as it was right across the street from our Air Bnb and we had trouble finding a good restaurant that didn't charge us a minimum of $1200ish for such a large group. Shokudo ended up being perfect. They have the cutest little outdoor dining area and the cocktails were to dieee for!! If you go you have to try the Pure Dawn! Afterwards we went to The Delano pool bar in South Beach. If you're looking for a more casual place to hangout in Miami, I definitely recommend this spot!

DAY THREE

We started off the day with brunch at The Local House which is SUCH a cute restaurant. They set up a table for us outside in our own little area and it was perfect! While the bottomless mimosas we flowing, we saw a girl in the cutest little two piece outfit and called her over to get the details. We found out her name is Sofia Morgan and her instagram account is @shecomesincolors. She is the sweetest and has the best style, fashion and home decor. Now she's one of my favorite people to follow on IG! Anyways, after finishing our mimosas (and food) and taking a million pictures, we made a stop at the beach, because brunch and the beach, duh!

After brunch and the beach we made our way back to our Air bnb to have our own little pool party. Before arriving at our house we were distracted by a huge green elephant across the street, so we ran over to go get a picture with it. The picture led to us meeting the owner of the restaurant next door, Palat, which led to him bringing us free mimosas! They clearly know the way to my heart haha! The restaurant was adorable and the owner was very nice, so we planned to come back for dinner!

My only other wardrobe request for everyone was to bring a blue bikini, any shade of blue, because if you know me (or follow me on instagram) you know I love the color blue. Although we lost a few girls by Sunday, the shade of blue looked so good together! and as you can tell below...(twerk picture) we were all feeling pretty good lol. The mimosas did us RIGHT!

That night we had a late dinner at Palat. We were in awe of how good the food and service was! The owner made sure our wine glasses were never empty and kept bringing us plate after plate of his favorite dishes. They even brought us dessert on the house! Seriously, I dont think I've ever had better service. I can't wait to go back! We were exhausted and didn't end up making it out on our last night. Haha sounds lame, but we still had so much fun at dinner. After checking out the next morning we wandered around Wynwood and I had to introduce my friends to Panther Coffee, my faaave coffee spot in Wynwood.

Well, that's pretty much it for my bachelorette weekend! Now if only I could get everyone to do that every year haha! I am so incredibly thankful for each and every one of these girls. They are all so amazing and they all got along so well together. I just couldn't have asked for a better bachelorette party.
