Staycation: Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort is no doubt one of if not the most popular hotels in Hollywood Beach. The property is absolutely gorgeous and has a lot to offer on site like spacious guest rooms, oceanfront and intercostal views, 3 pools, 9 dining options, complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas, live music, and it's located right on the beach in the middle of the the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. It's also just 15 minutes away from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport!

After years of talking about it JT and I finally got to have a little staycation at Margaritaville and we took the term staycation very seriously and didn’t leave the property once.

Here's a little recap of our two night stay...

DAY 1:

We checked in early and immediately went straight out to Floridays for taco bowls + pina coladas. We ordered the chicken tinga and carne asada bowls and they were delicious. Both had so much flavor! After that we relaxed in our room + enjoyed the view of the 11th floor pool + beach. For dinner, we tried JWB Prime Steak and Seafood for the first time and it was the perfect little date night spot. You have to try the Lobster Hashbrown! It's unlike anything we've ever had before, so buttery and delicious. We loved it! Afterwards we checked out the live music at the band shell before heading in for the night because ya girl is 30 weeks pregnant and tired.

DAY 2:

The next morning we went down to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville Restaurant to try their brand new brunch menu! We had the best sweet and savory combo— the fried chicken + waffles and the French toast! it was SO good. After brunch we spent the day in a cabana at the Land Shark Pool. My mom brought Jett over to swim and have lunch. After that we relaxed and watched the Olympics the rest of the day in the cabana. It was the best. That night we decided to stay in and order pizza + nachos to our room.

DAY 3:

I woke up and sat on our balcony while I waited for JT to wake up and then we went down to the lobby to grab coffee + breakfast at the coffee shop. We brought it up to our room and enjoyed it on the balcony before we went to get our first ever couples massage! We had Ginger and Anatolie as our masseuses and they were amazing!

Although we decided to enjoy the weekend just us two while my mom stayed home with our 2 year old, he did come over to swim for a few hours! Margartitaville is very family frindley and has a lot to offer kids. They have a kids club, multiple pools, the flow rider, and beach activities!

It was truly a blissful weekend and the best part was we were less than 10 minutes from home!

Margaritaville is constantly running all kinda of special offer so be sure to check them out here!
