The Betsy Hotel: A Classic Miami Dream

The 130 room Betsy Hotel is a classic Miami dream with a luxe but laid back feel. The decor is elegant, beachy and as they like to call it "colonial chic". It has charm you wouldn't expect to find in South Beach while still being in a prime location across the street from the beach and within walking distance to a ton of restaurants + shops. It's located in the Art Deco District of Miami, so you're surrounded by beautiful, classic Miami architecture. The hotel dates back to the 1940's where soldiers during World War 2 were some of the first guests to stay at the hotel!

I had an amazing experience staying here. The service was impeccable and the property radiates good energy. I highly recommend booking a trip!

WELCOME PROSECCO

Upon arrival we were offered waters + a complementary glass of prosecco.

THE ROOM DECOR

The tropical print wallpaper adds an elegant feel to the each room.

THE TWO POOLS

There is one pool located in the courtyard off of the lobby and another pool of the rooftop with a bar!

BEACH CHAIR + UMBRELLA SERVICE

Towels, beach chairs + umbrellas are complementary through the hotel, but bring some cash in case you want to tip the beach attendants.

OCEAN DRIVE RESTAURANT VIEWS

If it's nice out, you have to sit outside! You can't beat the view of palms lining the beach.

IT'S PET FRIENDLY

They do charge a pet fee, but part of the fee goes towards the dog shelters in South Beach + in Zimbabwe. If you're lucky you'll see Betsy + Rosie, the hotel dogs, on the property. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to meet them but keep a look out!
