Indian Rocks Beach Mini Vacay

As much as I love my little slices of paradise (Hollywood + Marco Island) it was so nice to explore a part of Florida I've never visited before. I've always had a random desire to live in the Tampa area? I'm really not sure why because I've only visited Tampa once back in 2011...but maybe it's because I follow so many bloggers that live there and it looks so fun! Whatever it is I think I have officially decided I love the west coast of Florida and I LOVE how much there is to do around the Tampa area. So many little beach towns to visit. We really liked Indian Rocks Beach, it was the perfect little getaway town. We stayed in the cutest Air Bnb just steps away from the beach and were just 20 short mins away from one of the most popular Florida beach towns- Clearwater Beach.

We went up to my father-in-law's friends house in New Port Richey the first full day. They live in a beautifully decorated house on a bayou where JT and I got to go jet skiing! We had a blast. The second day we had a little photoshoot and hung at the beach during the day, caught the sunset, then went to Guppy's just down the street for dinner. Loved this restaurant! Quality food and great service. The next day JT had to work so I hung out at the beach and then we went to Clearwater Beach for dinner. We were running a little behind and were still waiting for our table at Jim's Crows Nest, a rooftop bar, when the sun set which was a bummer, but we met a cool couple and ended up hanging out with them.

All in all, we had such a sweet little vacay. It's been a while since we've been able to explore a new place and cant wait to explore more! Keep scrolling for more photos from our trip!

And follow along for more @BrunchAndTheBeach!
