Charleston Travel Guide

Where to stay:

This is the Air Bnb we stayed at. Located on Cannon Street. Walking distance to King Street and a lot of bars + restaurants.

Another cute Air bnb for two!

2 bedroom Air bnb that sleeps six! Super close to King Street.

Such a cute hotel with a rooftop bar + restaurant.

A Marriott property centrally located.

Where to eat + drink:

An upscale cocktail lounge. They have happy hour every day except Saturday. Monday-Thursday 5-8pm, Friday 5-7pm, Sundays 5-close.

We sat at the bar and loved the vibe! The decor is so cute. If you love oysters you have to go and sit at the oyster bar!

The popular donut spot in town!

The cutest coffee shop! Their breakfast sandwiches are to die for...the pepper jelly, mmmm.

The best rooftop in town. Amazing drinks and bar eats.

Such a cute spot and their food is super good. We got the fried chicken sandwich, the fried brussel sprouts, and the buffalo shrimp. SO yum.

Southern cuisine and such a vibe! Their outdoor seating is awesome when the weather is nice.

Fun spot to go to for brunch and game days (tons of TV's). Their Bodega menu looks amazing, but unfortunately we got there too late.

Cute + DELICIOUS bbq spot located downtown.

A waterfront bar + restaurant. They have an amazing bloody mary!

What to do:

Charleston City Market

For some unique, locally made goodies.

Shopping on King Street

There are a ton of good stores on this street!

Rainbow Row

The row of pretty, pastel-colored homes located on East Bay Street, just along the Battery. You'll see a ton of people there taking photos, but it's understandable.

Walk along East Bay Street

If you're checking out Rainbow Row just continue walking up and down the street. The houses are so beautiful + charming. If you're looking for an aesthetic photo spot this is it.

Battery Park

Just down the street from Rainbow Row. It's a charming park right on the water.

Charleston Harbor Waterfront Park

Pretty place to relax, read a book, or get some fresh air.

If you aren't into walking, this is a great way to see the town.

I would love to do this in the spring/summer time.

If you want a more organized tour, this is a great one!

Explore the local beaches.

Folly Beach, Sullivans Island, Isle of Palms.
