If you follow me on Instagram you've probably noticed that JT and I are on a juice kick. And no, we are not doing a juice only cleanse. We're still eating our regular meals just have fresh juice every AM! JT got me the best juicer for Christmas and we have been juicing 2-3 times a week since the beginning of 2020. So far I am loving it! We like to switch things up each week but here are the ingredients to two of our staple juices:
Kale or Spinach or both
This past week we juiced watermelon! As you can imagine you get a lot of juice from one baby watermelon. We ended up making our usual green juices but without the apple and we topped each one off with watermelon juice. To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of the watermelon juice. It was very sweet and I prefer the tartness of a green apple. You might like it though!
A few tips when juicing:
Use one fruit per juice (I don't count lemon)- more than one fruit is too much sugar in my opinion!
Store in an air tight glass container
Drink within 2-3 days max- it loses its nutritional value after 3 days.
